Our Faithful God

"Thus the LORD gave to Israel all the land he swore to give to their fathers. And they took possession of it, and they settled there. And the LORD gave them rest on every side just as he had sworn to their fathers. Not one of all their enemies had withstood them, for the LORD had given all their enemies into their hands. Not one word of all the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass." Joshua 21: 43-45

In Northern Ireland, it's pronounced, "Brown Cye", and in Scotland it's "Brown Coo." :) Pretty funny!

That's a great passage. I just finished 2 Chornicles this morning, and I'm so excited to start Ezra now... it's so cool how God kept His covenant with His people! ie: even how it was promised that the Messiah would come from the line of David, and how when it seemed like all of the line of David had been murdered at one point, there was a young boy kept in hidding with his nurse, who came out 6 years later and continued the rule of David's line! God is faithful indeed!
